DISRUPTION along the A34 will continue this week.
Highways England is continuing to work to improve safety in a lay-by near South Hinksey.
As a result, the A34 southbound carriageway will be shut from the Botley Interchange to the Hinksey Hill junction overnight between 9pm and 6am. That work will continue until July 6 – but only on weekdays.
Clearly signed diversions will be put up along the A34 at Islip and Weston-on-the-Green.
At Islip, the southbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from tonight. They will also be closed tomorrow night and Wednesday night.
At Weston-on-the-Green, the southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am on Wednesday, June 20.
Another signed diversion will be put in place via the M40 roundabout and on its return.
For more information on the work, visit Highways England’s website.
