AGAINST Breast Cancer’s Breast Walk Ever will return this September, offering a trio of distance options to encourage all ages and abilities to sign up for the charity fundraiser.

This year's options include a marathon-length route from Abingdon, a half marathon from Wallingford and a 10k stroll from Goring-on-Thames.

All the walks end at Beale Park Wildlife Park and Gardens near Pangbourne.

Against Breast Cancer, based in Abingdon, funds research into secondary spread of the disease.

Event organiser Richard Martin said: “We cannot wait to welcome one and all to Breast Walk Ever 2018. The walk is a great day out for the family and a fantastic fundraiser.”

Entry fees range from £10 to £25, depending on distance, and each walker gets free entry to Beale Park after the walk. All walkers are encouraged to do some fundraising with an initial target set at £50 for the September 2 event.

Former British gymnast and Against Breast Cancer patron Suzanne Dando-Reynolds has taken part in the Breast Walk Ever in recent years.

She said: “On behalf of everyone at the charity I’d like to say how much we value the efforts of our fabulous walkers, raising vital sponsorship for our ground-breaking research.” For more information visit againstbreastcancer.org.uk
