THE Sheldonian Theatre has sold out for a free event with the author of ‘Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race’.
Reni Eddo-Lodge, who also won the Jhalak Prize 2018, will be in conversation with Dr Rebecca Surender – Oxford University’s Pro-Vice Chancellor and advocate for diversity – on Thursday evening.
The event is part of the Postcolonial Writing and Theory seminar series, including the ‘Postcolonial Writers Make Worlds’ project.
Elleke Boehmer, a Professor of world literature in English, will introduce the event, which will start at 5pm and last two hours.
