WANTAGE'S more notable buildings have been faithfully recreated using wool for a new display this month.
Resident Julie Davies has knitted a series of miniature 3D buildings from her home town for a new exhibit at the town library.
Perfecting the skill over a number of years, Mrs Davies has knitted the King Alfred's Statue, The Flour Mill and Wantage Town Football Club and the library to name just a few.
She said: "I've been doing it for about four years now. I just go out and take a picture, source some wool that is the same colour as the building and then pick a stitch that looks like the brick work - there's a bit of trial and error involved, but that's it really."
Each building takes around four to six weeks to knit with a total of 15 of Wantage's more notable buildings currently complete.
Mrs Davies' buildings will be on display at Wantage Library throughout June.
