THE weekend is looking like it could be a washout in comparison to the scorching heatwave that graced the county earlier this month.
Earlier this week forecasts predicted a glorious sundrenched weekend for Oxfordshire.
But Bank Holiday revellers, including those heading to Common People festival in South Park, will be happy to hear - despite a lot of rain today and some forecast for the coming days - it is not expected to last all weekend.
Starting grey again this morning with some rain and drizzle at first, but with the cloud breaking up this afternoon to give a fine and sunny start to the bank holiday weekend. Maximum temperature 19 C. 🌧️☁️🌥️⛅️☀️! ^JB

Our British is summer of recent weeks is not a thing of the past just yet as temperatures will remain relatively warm throughout the bank holiday weekend with highs of 24C.
Today the heavy rain is expected to ease off from 11am with the sun expected to make an appearance later today.
Many festival goers will be alongside Common People organiser Rob da Bank who is keeping his fingers crossed for good weather.
He recently revealed he had feared after heavy spring rain would have postponed the festival.

But in good news for the festival, heading into Saturday the Met Office predicts it will be mostly cloudy with just 30 per cent rain from 3pm.
Sunday looks to be fairly similar also with 30 per cent rain from 4pm.
The bank holiday Monday, however, looks to be relatively dry throughout and includes temperatures reaching up to 23C.
