THE Hare in West Oxfordshire has missed out on being crowned best pub in the country at the National Pub and Bar Awards.

The Milton-under-Wychwood pub was one of 94 establishments to make it to the grand finals on Wednesday after it was named Oxfordshire's best pub in April. The White Horse in Chilgrove in Sussex was crowned winner.
