SOLUTIONS to the declining recycling rate in the county will be presented to Oxfordshire County Council next week.
Councillor Liz Leffman has led a 'deep dive' into the problem will present the findings to the council's performance scrutiny committee.
Her initial report said a consultation earlier this year found people were 'confused' about what can be recycled and needed more information.
The recommendations are expected to call for a renewed focus on communication and public awareness.
Oxfordshire County Council said it was 'falling below' its target of 59 per cent of household waste to be reused by 2020.
A controversial 'Pay as you Throw' system charging families for household wastes has also been considered in the report but ruled out.
