A GIG at Cowley Road’s O2 Academy had to be cancelled with the band claiming concert-goers were ‘standing in human faeces’.

Rock band Don Broco were due to play on Thursday night but told disappointed fans from the stage the show would not go ahead.
In a video posted on Twitter the band could be heard telling a booing audience: "We're not allowed to play because there's a very good health and safety risk because apparently a lot of you are currently standing in human faeces."
The video has since been made private.
The O2 Academy did not confirm the cause of the cancellation, reported to be due to broken toilets, but tweeted later that night that there had been a 'spanner in the works' meaning the event needed to be postponed.
They added: "It will be rescheduled so please keep hold of your tickets. We’re so very sorry, but we’ll be in touch with all ticket holders."
Gutted the venue wouldn’t let us play tonight. Circumstances were out of our control. We will reschedule. Thank you for understanding. Brb. https://t.co/ToCBgdiCy7

Unfortunately, we had a spanner in the works here tonight and our @DONBROCO show has been postponed, but it will be rescheduled so please keep hold of your tickets. We’re so very sorry, but we’ll be in touch with all ticket holders directly first thing.

Responding to the venue's tweet, one member of the audience said the incident was 'a bit more than a spanner' writing: "Toilets leaked and everyone was standing in wee and poo".
Emily Forbes added: "Absolutely shattered and unlikely to be able to make the next gig as I move overseas."
She said she did not blame the band but was disappointed by the O2, saying similar issues had happened at the venue before.
Don Broco tweeted they were 'gutted' not be able to play and reiterated the intention to reschedule the concert.
