THE chaplain of an Oxfordshire private school has condemned members of the clergy for appeasing the Syrian regime.
In a letter to The Times, The Rev Dr Simon Steer, chaplain at Abingdon School, has called for senior Christian leaders to declare 'unequivocally' the evil being done in order to help morally justify military intervention.
