A DOCKLESS bike firm has insisted 'only a few' people are misusing the scheme after pictures of a badly parked bike were shared on social media.
Ian Pinnell posted this picture of a Pony bike hanging from the railings in Headington Hill yesterday.
He said although he liked the scheme, riders should be fined for misusing it.
Another dockless bike, ‘docked’ wrong. I like the scheme but I hope you call and fine the riders that do this @getapony.

In its response the company insisted 'most people are actually awesome' and examples of the type of behaviour shared by Mr Pinnell 'don't happen very often'.
It added: "Regarding fines. We do investigate everytime and report to the police when a bad parking is clearly obstructing or has incurred damaged.
"We charge obvious continued free riders."
It's not the first time 'misdocked' Pony bikes have been spotted around Oxford.
This Pony found its way into the canal in February.
And one inconsiderate rider 'docked' this bike on top of a bus shelter a month before.
