Personnel from RAF Benson near Wallingford marked the centenary of the air force by carrying a commemorative baton onto the air base.
The RAF100 campaign is taking the baton to 100 different locations around the country including air bases.
Last night Flying Officer Kurt Lee, an Air Traffic Control officer from RAF Benson was led personnel carrying the baton onto the base before he presented it to Station Commander, Group Captain Hamish Cormack.
The baton is due to travel to RAF Brize Norton in West Oxfordshire on Thursday.
Centenary celebrations got under way at the weekend and will continue throughout the year.
