HEAVY rain is expected to batter most the county today and as a result has led to flood warnings from the Enviromental Agency.
The agency has warned people north of the county of the rising levels on the River Ray in response to recent rainfall.
The potentially heavy rain today is expected to cause flooding of low lying land and roads into this evening.
The Enviroment Agency said areas such as Lower Stratton and Islip are most likely to be affected.
Elsewhere the levels on the River Thame are also steadily rising and the further band of rainfall expected today could again cause floods on low lying land and road, particularly near Thame, Dorchester and Stadhampton areas.
