STUDENTS at a Witney school raised more than £1,102 by playing a marathon 24-hour football match through the night.
Sixth Form students at Cokethorpe School joined PE (physical education) staff to take part in the sporting feat earlier this month, playing from 1pm until 1pm the following day.
It was organised by student Sam Mason for his A-Level business studies course.
The match raised money for charity Myositis UK, which funds research into rare inflammatory muscular conditions.
PE teacher Rich Cook said everyone was 'delighted' by the fundraising total.
