A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike in Frideswide Square.
The collision ocurred in Park End Street, near the Saïd Business School, at around 11.30am.
South Central Ambulance Service sent paramedics to the scene, who treated the man before taking him to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Passersby say they saw the cyclist, who was wearing hi-viz, moving around on the floor before being taken to the ambulance via stretcher.
Police were on scene briefly diverting traffic while paramedics tended to the injured man.
Oxford Bus Company diverted some of its services as a result of the collision - but normal service has now resumed.
