A DECISION on whether Firoz Kassam’s company should be forced to repair a dilapidated pub in Littlemore has been ‘called in’ by councillors.
Mr Kassam wants to remove the condition placed on his company, Firoka, to restore the Grade II listed priory when it was given planning permission to build a three story hotel next door.
Councillor John Tanner has led the call-in which means the decision will be made by the east area planning committee, but has stated he will withdraw this, if officers recommend Mr Kassam’s request is refused.
