ALL sections of communities have been rocked by grooming scandals, including Muslims, the Bishop of Oxford has said.
The Right Rev. Dr Steven Croft has been the Bishop of Oxford since July 2016 and previously served as Bishop of Sheffield.
He told the House of Lords: “I had the great privilege to be the bishop of Sheffield during the child exploitation scandal in Rotherham.”
He added: “I spent a great deal of time in Rotherham and registered shock across all sections of the community including the Muslim community who were as deeply as appalled as the rest of the community.”
