POLICE will be cracking down on drivers and passengers not wearing seatbelts this week as part of a national safety campaign.
Officers from the Joint Roads Policing Unit will be stopping Oxfordshire motorists if occupants are breaking the law. The penalty for not wearing a seatbelt is an on-the-spot £100 fine, or if prosecuted up to £500.
