RUGBY players from England's national men's squad stopped off at a Littlemore school.

The national team trained at The Oxford Academy last week to make the most of its all-weather sports dome, which the school unveiled last year.

Players took refuge from the snow to train last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

England's head coach Eddie Jones thanked the school for offering its 'great facilities'.

Ashley Hollis, acting lead for physical education at the school, said: "It was a pleasure to host our national rugby team to ensure training could continue during bad weather.

"It was a very exciting and amazing experience."

The school's Year 8 rugby team got to watch them train.
