Youngsters celebrated Chinese New Year with creative fun as part of a series of events across the country.
Both the Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock, the Story Museum in Pembroke Street and the Ashmolean Museum in Beaumont Street all hosted events organised by Snowflake Books to mark the festival in February.
Snowflake Books uses art and design in a variety of ways to reach out to children from diverse social contexts to expand their perceptions of other cultures and to celebrate shared international values.
At the events youngsters took part in interactive story reading with specialist readers, dancing with dragons and making face masks, among other activities.
They also found out more about Chinese culture and learned key facts and words to take home.
The sessions were organised by Snowflake's artists Jian Zhi Qiu, Jin Jie Ye and Su Yen Hu.
Company director Su Yen Hu said: "Our core medium has been the creation of imaginative children’s books, of high artistic quality, portraying Chinese festivals and important mythical characters."
Events organised by Snowflake also took place in range of other venues including Camberwell Library in London.
