OXFORD has more dirty cars than anywhere else in the UK, new research has revealed.
The city's motorists are least likely to clean their vehicles on a regular basis according to the study by Comparethemarket.com.
And one in 20 surveyed in the city admitted they had only washed their car once in 20 years.
With spring just around the corner, the results also revealed that over two million UK motorists have never washed their cars while 4.7 million motorists admit to neglecting the chore of the car wash for at least the last year.
Aberystwyth in Wales took the crown for having the most car-proud, cleanest drivers, followed by Gloucester and Birmingham.
