NATIONAL children's charity, WellChild, is looking for local nominations for the 2018 WellChild Awards.
The annual event celebrates the inspirational qualities of the UK's seriously ill children and young people as well as the dedication of those who go that extra mile to make a real difference to their lives.
There are more children and young people than ever before in the UK living with serious illness or exceptional health needs and awards provide a unique opportunity to honour the bravery of these children, young people and the dedication of those that care for them.
Categories for the awards are Inspirational Child or Young Person; Most Caring Child or Young Person; Nurse; Doctor; Outstanding Professional Award; and Health Team.
The awards are held in partnership with health care company GSK.
Nominations for the upcoming awards can be made at wellchild.org.uk/awards.
Closing date for nominations is 12pm on Monday, April 9 2018.
