FORMER Oasis star Noel Gallagher is the final star to be unveiled for this year’s Nocturne Live concert series at Blenheim Palace.

The multi-award winning artist, one of the biggest names in British indie-rock, will perform with his band High Flying Birds on Friday June 15.

He joins Nile Rodgers & Chic, Gary Barlow and Elvis Costello as a headliner for the 10,000-capacity Great Court.

Gallagher, who has had eight UK number-one singles, will play a mix of solo material and Oasis hits.

The High Flying Birds touring band consists of former Oasis guitarist Gem Archer, former Oasis session pianist Mike Rowe, former Oasis drummer Chris Sharrock and The Zutons bassist Russell Pritchard.

Ciro Romano, of Nocturne Live said: "We’re confident that the line-up for this year’s Nocturne is our strongest to date.

"In Nile Rodgers, Elvis Costello, Gary Barlow and Noel Gallagher we have four true giants of the music world, each offering something different but all undeniably world class. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Palace in June.”

Tickets start at £45 and go on sale at 9am on Friday from nocturnelive.com.

Also on sale are a limited number of VIP packages – which provide an exclusive opportunity to dine in the State Rooms of Blenheim Palace.
