A CYCLIST is fighting for his life in hospital after being involved in a collision with a car.
The 25-year-old man from Oxford sustained serious injuries in the crash which happened on the B480 close to the slip road for Chalgrove.
It involved the cyclist and a blue Volkswagen Polo at about 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The cyclist was taken to the John Radcliffe where Thames Valley Police said he remains in a critical condition.
Investigating officer, PC Julia Stroud, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, based at Bicester, said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either the cyclist or the VW Polo before or after the collision.
"We are also asking anyone who might have dash cam footage of the collision to please get in touch."
