TRAVELLERS have once again moved into yet another park-and-ride car park in Oxford.
The group have pitched up at the Water Eaton park-and-ride site, near Oxford Parkway, which is managed by Oxfordshire County Council.
It comes after some 20 caravans arrived at the Water Eaton park-and-ride site in December and stayed for more than 10 days as the council battled to move them on.
The latest stint is one of several over recent months where groups of travellers have set up camp in park and rides up and down Oxford, also including Thornhill Park and Ride and Pear Tree Park and Ride.
Martin Crabtree, spokesman for the council, said: “On Saturday we were made aware that travellers had arrived at Oxford Parkway.
"We are hoping to resolve the situation through discussion while also following the necessary legal process in the event that this is not successful.”
