A TRAFFIC lights failure which caused delays on the Oxford ring road this morning has now been fixed.
All the lights were out of order on all approaches to the Littlemore roundabout.
Heavy traffic was seen on the A4142, Eastern By-Pass Road, as a result.
Drivers were advised to approach the roundabout with extra caution.
It is not known what has caused the lights to fail.
Speaking before the lights were fixed, Martin Crabtree, Oxfordshire County Council spokesman, said: “Engineers are currently working to diagnose the fault on the traffic lights. At the moment the signals are not operating and there are signs up to alert motorists to this.
"We do not have a time for when they will be back up and running but clearly our contractors are working hard to get them on as soon as they can.”
