Oxford-trained actress Claire Foy was one of only two British winners at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last night.
Ms Foy won 'Outstanding Performance by a female actor in a drama series' for The Crown.
The 33-year-old trained at Oxford School of Drama in Woodstock.
Gary Oldman scooped the best actor in a leading role award for Darkest Hour - filmed in Bicester.
His portrayal of Sir Winston Churchill brought him to Bicester Heritage.
The former Second World War RAF bomber training station has already provided the backdrop for scenes in The Imitation Game, the 2014 film starring Benedict Cumberbatch as codebreaker Alan Turing.
