BANBURY MAGISTRATES

BRYUN TRINDER, 26, of Overthorpe, Banbury, admitted to failing to stop after a crash and drink driving with 58mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35mcg limit, in Middleton Road, Banbury, on July 15, 2017. He was fined £527 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £42 and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 14 months.

DAVE BANKS, 48, of Woodfield, Banbury, admitted to drink driving with 68mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35mcg limit, in Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, on December 18, 2017. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 18 months.

MICHAEL CUMMINGS, 24, of The Mount, Shrewbury, Shrophire, admitted to drink driving in London Road, Bicester, with 79mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35mcg limit, on December 16, 2017. He was fined £160 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 20 months.

LUKASZ GUZ, 34, of Southam Road, Banbury, admitted to drink driving in Cope Road, Banbury, with 78mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35mcg limit, on December 17, 2017. He was fined £30 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £33 and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 20 months.

LEE ROBERTS, 46, of Victoria Road, Rhyl, Denbighshire, Wales, admitted to drink driving on the A44 (London Road) in Chipping Norton, with 43mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35mcg limit, on December 17, 2017. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

SIMON RUSHBY, 39, of Spindleside, Bicester, admitted to drink driving in Buckingham Road, Bicester, with 66mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35mcg limit. He was fined £500 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 18 months.

DANIEL WASHINGTON, 31, of Deacon Way, Banbury, admitted to drink driving in Middleton Road, Banbury, with 122mg of alcohol in 100ml of urine, on November 4, 2017. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

JASON WOLSTENCROFT, 48, of Brookfield Rise, Upper Tadmarton, admitted to using threatening or abusive words likely to cause distress in High Street, Banbury, on December 18, 2017. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

STEWART PAUL LYGO, 39, of Norman Smith Road, Oxford admitted using a vehicle without insurance in Grenoble Road, Oxford on June 6. He was fined £270, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and was given six points on his licence.

CASSIAN HAZLEWOOD, 45, of Manor Farm, North Hinksey Village admitted using a vehicle without insurance on the M4 westbound, near junction 14 in Berkshire on September 21. He was fined £330, must pay a victim surcharge of £33 and court costs of £85 and given six points on his licence.

ARTHUR WILLIAM ROBINSON, 66, of Orchard Close, Chalgrove admitted speeding at 53mph, exceeding the 30mph limit in Beggarsbush Hill, Benson on June 6. He was fined £150, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40 and was given six points on his licence.

MARINA TRACY GOFF, 37, of West Hawthorn Road, Ambrosden, was convicted of driving a vehicle without a licence in Queens Avenue, Bicester on July 18. She was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and given three points on her licence.

MARK O’BRIEN, 49, of Station Road, Chinnor was convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her in Chinnor on October 3. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £620.

FRANCISCO FERREIRA-LEITE, 65, of Manor Road, Witney, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver alleged to have committed an offence between May 26 and June 23. He was fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for six months.

WAYNE FENN, 38, of Long Close, Headington was admitted stealing alcohol worth £200 from Waitrose in Wallingford on March 11. He must pay compensation of £50.

MICHAEL ANTHONY STONE, 58, of Walton Well Road, Oxford, admitted harassing a woman by attending her place of work and following her on June 16 and verbally abusing her on July 12 and July 18. He was conditionally discharged for three years and a restraining order was made not to contact the woman or go to a pub in North Oxford and he must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

LAWRENCE PARKER, 27, of Crutch Furlong, Berinsfield, admitted destroying a living room window worth £192 at the Henley YMCA on August 10 and sending threatening text messages to two women on August 11. He was given a restraining order and must not contact a woman or attend the YMCA Henley or Culham Science Centre until November 15 2019. He was also fined £100 and must pay compensation of £192 and court costs of £35.

GEORGE CHANAA, 52, of Godstow Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford and sending grossly offensive messages on October 20 . He was sent to prison for 8 weeks and given a restraining order not to contact a woman or go to various locations in Oxford until November 16 2019 and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

JAMES ALBISTON, 25, of Windmill Road, Oxford, admitted damaging a police car in Windmill Road on November 1, being drunk and disorderly on the same occasion and possessing a two-inch block of cannabis resin, a Class B drug. Fined £185 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

PATRICK JAMES, 64, of Finmore Close, Abingdon, admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour in Abingdon on October 23. Also admitted failing to answer bail at Oxford Magistrates' Court on November 7. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £80 costs.

VICTOR CEGARRA, 33, of Fernhill Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Botley Road, Oxford, on November 5, 2016. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

THOMAS MCARTHUR, 24, of Evenlode Crescent, Kidlington, admitted speeding at 67mph in a 50mph zone on the A44, Woodstock Road, Yarnton, on April 19. Also admitted using a mobile phone at the wheel on Banbury Road, Kidlington, on June 22. Fined £540 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with ten points.

CRAIG SCOTT, 41, of Skylark Road, Bodicote near Banbury, was convicted not having enough tread on his car tyres in Banbury on May 22. Specifically it was found that 'the grooves of the treat pattern of a tyre fitted to the front nearside wheel were not of a depth of at least 1.6mm throughout a continuous band... round the entire outer circumference of the tyre'. Banned from driving for three months, fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

ROBERT WILSON, 50, of Kingfisher Green, Oxford, admitted driving on a public road, namely Sandy Lane Oxford, without insurance on May 16. Fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

VICTOR SEYMOUR, 35, also known as Peter John Rose, of no fixed address, admitted failing to notify police of a change of address in Oxford in November. Fined £126 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

ALEXANDER BURROWS, 50, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted carrrying a kitchen knife in a public place, namely Cowley Road, on August 15. Also admitted criminally damaging a mobile phone belonging to Thames Valley Police at Abingdon Police Station on the same dat, and failing to answer bail at Oxford Magistrates' Court on November 13. Given a community order requiring participation in a rehabilitation program for up to 30 day and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £80 compensation to the police.

LINSEY POWER, 46, of South Avenue, Kidlington, was convicted of arson on a house in South Avenue, Kidlington, on April 21. Given a community order requiring rehabilitation for up to 20 days and ordered to pay £400 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

SARAH CONWAY, 37, of Rookery Way, Bicester, was convicted of driving on a public road, namely Botley Road, Oxford, without insurance on August 1. Fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

CALVIN DAWSON, 47, of Newlands Avenue, Didcot, was convicted of driving on a public road, namely The Broadway, Didcot, on August 4, without insurance. Fined £600 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

THOMAS PATERSON, 32, of Queensway, Didcot, was convicted of riding in the front seat of a vehicle without his seatbelt on in Newbury Street, Wantage, on July 17. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

ADAM PEACH, 25, of Waynflete Road, Oxford, admitted driving on a public road, namely Watlington Road, Oxford, without insurance on August 8. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

JAY REYNOLDS, 20, of Regal Close, Abingdon, was convicted of driving without a licence on Portway, Wantage, on August 15. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

PETER SCOTT-RUSSELL, 54, of High Street, Standlake, was convicted of driving on Baulking Lane, Kingston Lisle, without insurance on August 28. Fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.
