AN Oxford petrol station is to be rebuilt with a more modern design.
The owners of the BP garage in Oxford Road, Cowley, are planning to demolish the current buildings and build a new shop and 12 parking spaces.
However MRH UK – which describes itself as the UK’s largest independent operator of fuel petrol stations – is also planning to take out the car wash building and create a new ‘air and screen wash bay’.
The firm said the petrol station is in need of improvement and the new facility will be more modern. The station will continue to use existing access points from Edmund Road and Oxford Road.
