UPDATE: Wolf 'was deliberately set free'
A WOLF on the run for five hours after escaping from a sanctuary in Berkshire has been captured.
The wolf fled from the UK Wolf Conservation Trust site in Beenham at 8am after strong winds blew down a fence.
Thames Valley Police officers finally caught the wolf in Curridge - just south of the A34 / M4 junction.
Police officers texted residents in certain parts of Berkshire this morning and schools were advised to keep children indoors.
