AN OXFORD museum wants to install new toilets due to the ‘close to dilapidated’ state of the current facilities.
The Natural History Museum in Parks Road says the existing toilets in the north east corner of the building are in a poor condition and need replacing.
A planning permission request to Oxford City Council states that the ‘finished are dated’ and the old ventilation system causes smells to ‘emanate’ into the stairwell.
If successful, the plan would see the creation of extra toilets to meet the demand from visitors.
