CHILDREN are invited to unleash their silly side as enrolment opens for Oxford’s first Fool School.
The court jester at Oxford Castle Unlocked will offer lessons in the distinguished arts of joke telling, plate spinning, juggling and feather tickling.
The one hour crash course ends with a royal visit, to see if the Fool School pupils can raise a chuckle from the Castle’s grumpy King or Queen.
Fool School is recommended for ages 5-10 years. Parents can stay if they wish, or escape for to the Castleyard Café.
It will run twice daily between February 15-18, at 11am and 2pm, with places £7 per child.
Oxford Castle Unlocked is located on the former site of HMP Oxford but has stood as a Castle for 1,000 years.
