A PAGE of remembrance has been started for former students to pay tribute to a lecturer who was killed in a car crash.
Some 15 tributes have already been left for Mark Whittow who died in a collision on the M40 just before Christmas.
The University of Oxford's History faculty begun the tribute site, saying Dr Whittow was 'an enormous influence and presence in the life of the Faculty over recent decades.'
The 60-year-old historian was due to become the Provost of Oriel College.
Anyone wishing to leave a tribute can do so at rememberingmarkwhittow.history.ox.ac.uk.
