THE first planning application towards an £18.8m new leisure centre will be decided next week.
The plans to create a new entrance road to the site off Mably Way in Wantage will be decided by Vale of White Horse District Council’s planning committee on Wednesday, January 17.
The council’s officers, who are planning the facility, have drawn up the plans themselves and will submit a full application for the centre at a later date.
In the meantime members of public are welcome to attend Wednesday’s session at The Beacon in Wantage which starts at 6.30pm.
