OXFORD Brookes University will host a course for budding chefs to learn how best to handle and maintain that key kitchen implement - the knife.
The 'knife skills' course will focus on vegetable, fruit and fish preparation and by the end students will be chopping, slicing, dicing and chiffonading like a professional chef.
The hands-on event will be held at Brookes Restaurant, Headington Campus, on January 19 between 9.15am and 4.30pm.
