CONSERVATION volunteers will be working to clear the scrub from a nature reserve.

People will be working this Sunday at Crecy Hill, near Tackley to clear space to allow cows to graze.

The nature reserve is a three acre site created in 1850 when the Great Western Railway cut into the side of the Cherwell Valley to lay the Oxford to Banbury railway

The parish council is hoping to let Dexters, the smallest British breed of cattle, on to the site but space needs to be opened up beforehand.

Anyone is welcome to join the activity and no experience is necessary.
