VIKINGS A came from behind three times to earn a 3-3 draw away to Oracle in the first leg of the Oxford & District League’s Team Knock-out Cup, writes PETE EWINS.
Brian Rose (10,080, breaks 4,870 & 4,000) put Oracle ahead in the Group A match before Alan Oliver (5380) levelled.
Mark Trafford restored the home side’s lead by scoring 18,140 including a break of 13,270, only to see Ian Moss (5,200) make it 2-2.
Oracle took the first pairs through Rose and Ian Gordon (break 6,850), just pipping Oliver and Allan Lacey (break 5,100) 6890-5370.
Vikings again hit back for the draw thanks to Moss and Mike Jones (7,980) In Group B, Gladiators Club A won their first leg 5-1 at Vikings B.
