THE annual village Christmas tree carol service will be held in Grove on Thursday night.
Residents are invited to gather around the tree at the junction of Main Street and Vale Avenue, opposite Grove Methodist Church, from 7pm.
Reverend John Durant will lead the service, with festive music provided by the Wantage Silver Band.
Mince pies and a hot drink afterwards will be kindly provided by Grove Methodist Church.
A charity collection will also be made during the carol service and all monies received will be donated to Grove’s Day Centre for the Elderly.
The annual singalong is organised by Grove Parish Council.
