OXFORD MAGISTRATES'

LORRAINE GAUGHAN, 36, of Priory Road, Littlemore, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance and driving without a valid licence in Beaumont Street, Oxford on May 1. She was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.

MATTHEW WEBB, 36, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing a bag containing money, prescription medication and an electric shaver worth £1,312 from Fever Night Club, Oxford on November 1. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks and must pay compensation of £312.10

JAMIE WEBSTER, 24, of Faulkner Street, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis in Norreys Ave, Oxford on July 27. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

PAUL TIDBURY, 29, of no fixed address, admitted depositing building sand at the former Challow Country Club in East Challow and depositing builders waste including brick, hardcore and rubble in land off Bury Lane, East Ilsley on October 4. He was sent to prison for eight weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £200.

LOUIS INGRAM, 53, of Belmont, Wantage was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance and using a vehicle without a valid test certificate in the A417, Wantage on April 27. He was disqualified from driving for six months and fined £325. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

RONNIE CHARLETT, 32, of Asquith Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Oxford Road, Rose Hill on January 22. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £300.

ANGELA JOHNSON, 48, of Main Street, Grove, admitted drink-driving in Main Street, Grove on October 20. Had 108mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. She was disqualified from driving for 23 months and fined £230. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

WAYNE LANGRIDGE, 23, of Bletchingdon Road, Kirtlington, admitted damaging the side window of a car worth £75 in Oxford Crescent, Didcot on July 22. He was fined £150 and must pay compensation of £75 and a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

LINDON STEWART, 37, of Long Ground, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis in Oxford on August 10 and producing cannabis in Oxford on August 10. He was fined £100 and £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

LEWIS JAMES BATES, 25, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a person by beating him on July 30 in Oxford. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

RICKY OUSLEY, 18, of Sandy Lane, Oxford, admitted possessing two wraps of cannabis, driving a vehicle without a licence and driving a vehicle without insurance in Kersington Crescent, Oxford on October 17. He was fined £100, £110 and £330 and must pay a victim surcharge of £33 and court costs of £85.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

HELEN KEAY, 35, of Old Chapel Close, Kidlington, was convicted of speeding by driving 35 mph in a 30 mph area at Banbury Road, Oxford, on January 25. She was fined £130 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

ESTHER SAMPANEY, 29, of Dover Avenue, Banbury, admitted speeding at Watling Street, Milton Keynes on June 5. She was fined £73 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Her driving licence was also endorsed with four penalty points.

WILLIAM TAGG, 25, of Station Road, Bletchingdon, Oxfordshire, was convicted of driving a motor vehicle on at Tackley, Oxfordshire, on May 17 without insurance. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

SIMON THATCHER, 25, of Bradshaw Close, Steeple Aston, Bicester, was convicted of speeding by driving 64 mph in a 50 mph area at Yarnton on April 19. He was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

STEPHEN NEWMAN, 45, of Edmunds Road, Banbury, admitted possessing a quantity of cannabis at Edmunds Road, Banbury, on October 21. He was fined £80 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40 and the cannabis was forfeited and destroyed.

KARL MORETON, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing alcohol valued at £46 from Marks and Spencer, Oxford, as well as assaulting a man and a police officer on November 11 at Queen Street, Oxford. He was jailed for six weeks for a total of 18 weeks. He must also pay £50 compensation to each victim.

DEEJAY PARKER, 21, of Cromwell Road, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on September 26. He was fined £60 and must pay court costs of £60.

JOHN BOYLE, 52, of John Morris Road, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to give information relating to a driver between February 13 and March 13 at Banbury. He was fined £180 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

IONUT IRIMIEA, 37, of Rochford Gardens, Bicester, admitted speeding at Churchill Road, Bicester, on March 17 by driving 38 mph in a 30 mph area. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40. His driving licence was also endorsed with three

penalty points.

ELLIS HARVEY, 18, of The Fairway, Banbury, admitted possessing an offensive weapon – a knuckle duster, at Moo Moo, High Street, Banbury, on October 26. He was fined £249 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. The knuckle duster was also forfeited and will be destroyed.
