STAFF at Goldsmiths jewellers in Oxford entertained shoppers when they opened their new store at the Westgate Centre.
Marketing executive Ben Williams brought his guitar and sang to shoppers visiting for the first time on Saturday.
The 164 sq m jewellers opened following a £1.4m investment and is situated on the upper ground floor in the South Arcade.
On show are jewellery collections from Rolex, Omega and Breitling, as well as Mappin & Webb and Jenny Packham, exclusive to Goldsmiths.
Nine jobs have been created as a result of the new store opening, with new recruits joining the Goldsmiths Oxford team headed up by showroom manager David Rodger-Sharp.
Craig Bolton, Goldsmiths executive director, said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new showroom at the impressive Westgate Centre. Oxford is a city steeped in history and culture and we are excited to have a showroom at one of the most highly anticipated new retail destinations.”
