ENVIRONMENTAL writer George Monbiot is to give a talk about his latest book.
Mr Monbiot will be at the Newman Rooms in St Aldate’s on Wednesday, November 29, from 7pm to 8pm where he will talk about Out of Wreckage: A new Politics for an Age of Crisis.
In the book Mr Monbiot, from Oxford, analyses how democracy and economic life can be ‘radically reorganised’ to allow people to ‘overthrow the forces that have thwarted our ambitions for a better society’.
