THE Lord Mayor’s Tea Dance will be held in Oxford this afternoon.
Councillor Jean Fooks, who is Oxford's current Lord Mayor, has nominated Response Giving, Mayday Trust and Wolvercote Young People’s Club to be the charities that benefit from the event.
There will be a mix of ballroom, Latin and popular sequence dancing. Fun starts at 1pm and runs for three hours.
Live music will come from the duo Sugar and Spice. Dancers will be fuelled by cream teas provided at the event.
Tickets are £10 on the door and available from the Museum of Oxford’s gift shop by calling 01865 252414.
