DRONE footage has revealed the huge expansion of Bicester Village which is set to open in little over a week.

More than 30 new shops will be opening at the designer outlet and the latest pictures released show work nearing completion.

The expansion will bring the total number of boutiques at the centre up to more than 160 – almost a fifth bigger than its size before it was expanded.

Bicester Village revealed the official list of some of the brands due to open from October 19 last week, including Acne Studios, North Face and Under Armour.

The expansion will also include a pop-up experimental cafe The Secret Garden.

The designer outlet has also said the number of employees is now expected to rise by 450, taking the total number of people employed at Bicester Village to 4,000.

Especially for the expansion an impressive 2,266-light installation 'Moonblooms' will be created by artist Bruce Munro in the form of stainless-steel stems.
