EAST Oxford remain top of the Oxford City FA League after a 1-0 win at Dorchester.

The only goal of the game came late on when Mark Grisbrook dribbled past four defenders before slotting the ball into the bottom of the net from 12 yards.

Chequers won 4-1 at home to Masons Arms with Craig Dean and Aaron Williams hitting doubles. Tim Small scored Mason’s consolation.

Alex Pratchett twice put Union Street ahead in their clash with Florence Park – but could not save his side from a 3-2 defeat.

  •  ALEX Harrison scored deep into extra time to earn Vale of White Horse Under 15s a 2-1 victory over Cheltenham in the first round of the ESFA Playstation Under 15 Inter-Association Trophy at Winchcombe.

Vale took the lead midway though the first half when Sam Bailey netted after Cheltenham failed to clear Finn Spiers’s corner.

Luke Wilkinson equalised against the run of play to send the game into extra time.

And Fabian Crane’s cross was headed home by Alex Harrison with one minute remaining to give Vale a second-round tie away to Swindon.

  •  AMY Pipe scored a hat-trick as Abingdon United continued their commanding form at the top of Thames Valley Women’s League Division 1 with a 6-0 victory at Carterton.

Kiera Isaac and Amy Pipe found the net as the visitors took a 2-0 interval lead.

Steph Carrick headed home their third just after the break, before Pipe added two more to complete her hat-trick.

Isaac wrapped up proceedings with her second goal in the 88th minute.
