AN RAF band played a familiar song while awaiting the arrival of Princess Anne.
The band was playing at RAF Brize Norton for the centenary of 99 Squadron.
Princess Anne visited the base to celebrate event, which conducted bombing raids during the First and Second World Wars and, more recently, provided vital support to the Caribbean following the devastation of Hurricane Irma.
While awaiting the royal visitor, the band played a few songs that were less traditional than one might expect, including Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and the theme to The Great Escape.
