TIME - we all know what it means, but how on earth do you illustrate it in a photograph?

This week's Camera Club theme was definitely our most challenging yet, and not a few of you sent us some beautiful (if slightly predictable) pictures of clocks.

Peter Greenway took one step away from that time-honoured classic by sending a photo of the 17th century gears inside a church clock at Combe Mill near Witney.

Bryan Robertson took it one step further, creating and photographing his own 'Clockwork Orange' which he revealed tasted delicious afterwards!

Oxford City Athletic Club coach Ian Marriott has once again combined his two passions, submitting this shot of one of his athletes racing against the clock which he titled 'Time Waits for No Person'.

Chris Jonesee gave us 'Once Upon a Time' with this black and white shot of some beautiful Medieval brickwork, while Marie Barnett Comley showed us 'That Time of Year' with her frosty walk to school.

John Percival also took us 'back in time' with this brilliant photo of some 19th century graffiti hidden somewhere inside Oxford University.

He explained: "Working in one of the many Oxford colleges I work in (can't remember the name of this exact one, unfortunately), I found this hidden on a leaded roof inside one of the parapets."

Techy Ben Adams, meanwhile, has once again showed off his skills with this very tricky night-time time lapse.

He said: "I thought I would take a shot of something most people can relate to and I went with travel: all those hours commuting to work, travelling to holiday destinations and visiting family.

"This shot was taken on Old Road bridge over the A4142 eastern by-pass looking towards the factory at 7.30pm.

"I used a shutter speed of 10 seconds, aperture of f/14 and ISO 100. I used a Nikon D750 and 50mm prime lens."

Top prize for creativity, though, possibly has to go to Becca Collacott.

At first glance her photo might appear to be some toy dinosaurs dotted around a rockery, but could that plant in the middle by thyme? Could this shot in fact be The Land Before Thyme?

The only problem is (and our herbalist friends will be quick to correct us), that actually looks more like rosemary...

Moving on, we've got a feeling you're going to like next week's theme: pubs.

Try not to drink too much before getting out the camera.
