BANBURY MAGISTRATES

EBRIMA BAH, 47, of Park Road, Faringdon, was convicted of driving a vehicle without third party insurance in Sandy Lane West, Oxford, on January 3. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30. He was also disqualified from driving for 14 days.

ANOUAR JMIL, 23, of no fixed abode, was convicted of driving a vehicle without third party insurance in Oxford Road, Littlemore, Oxford, on January 17. He was fined £346 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

ROGER RUSKIN, 49, of Webbs Close, Wolvercote, admitted driving a vehicle above the legal alcohol limit with 99mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath, at Garsington Road, Oxford, on July 19. The legal limit is 35mcg. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody after being bailed. He was made subject to a community order to include an alcohol treatment requirement for nine months and a home curfew from 7pm to 7am for 11 weeks. He was fined £30 for failing to surrender and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 for the driving offence and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 28 months.

DONNY SAM, 44, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted going equipped for theft with a pair of pliers at the Clarendon Centre, Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on May 2. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £40.

RICHARD EWERS, 46, of Whitelands Way, Bicester, admitted stealing £1,940 in cash from his employer Rainbow Garden Services between July 3 and 9. He was made subject to a community order to include 120 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay compensation of £1,500.

JAROSLAW SZKLARSKI, 49, of Middleton Road, Banbury, admitted driving a vehicle over the legal alcohol limit with 92mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath on July 22 in Ruscote Avenue, Banbury and driving without third party insurance. The legal limit is 35mcg. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. He is also disqualified for 24 months and fined £300 for driving without insurance.

DANNY COWLEY, 35, of Mollington, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on November 23 at Longelandes Way, Banbury. He was fined £332 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £33 and court costs of £85.

ANDREW LENNON, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted burglary in West Street, Banbury, on May 19, stealing tools to an unknown value. He was jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

Lewis David Alner, 35, of Nuffield Close, Didcot, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of her duty in Chequers Place, Cholsey, on July 23. He was discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Charlotte Melissa Clarke, 26, Bodley Road, Oxford, admitted driving a motor vehicle above the legal alcohol limit on July 23 in Milton. Clarke had 45mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. Fined £200. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

Christian William Laverty, 37, of Glebe Gardens, Grove, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Wallingford on July 23. He was discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

David Harry Scott, 62, of Broadhead Place, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to provide a specimen of blood having being required to. Fined £200. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

Daniel Timbrell, 28, of Kings Wharf, Mill Street, Wantage, admitted driving a motor vehicle above the lagl alcohol limit in Wantage on August 5. Timbrell had 82mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. Also admitted driving while disqualified on the same date in the same location and using a motor vehicle on a road or in the public place without third party insurance. Sentenced to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 18 months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.

David Lindsay, 60, of Skeats Bush, East Hendred, admitted recording another person doing a private act with the intention that he would, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, look at an image of that other person doing the act, knowing that the other person did not consent to his recording the act with that intention. Restraining order made. Fined £1,500. Ordered to pay compensation of £1,500, a victim surcharge of £120 and £85 costs.

Noura Cheddad, 32, of Barton Village, Oxford, was convicted of between December 1, 2016, and January 11, 2017, pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a man which she knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of him in that she attended his place of work and home address and made numerous unwanted phone calls to him, including sending photographs of him. Also convicted of in Witney on January 11, 2017, had with her, without good reason or lawful authority, a kitchen knife in a public place. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Restraining order made. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20. Kitchen knife to be forfeited and destroyed.
