STUDENTS delved into the past to learn about an ancient Greek civilisation.
Latin classes and labyrinth designing were among activities offered to youngsters at the Iris Classics Centre in Oxford during its summer school.
The centre, based at Cheney School, ran its free summer programme from Tuesday to Thursday this week.
It focused on the Minoans, a Cretan society which existed in the Bronze Age.
Lorna Robinson, who runs the centre, said: “ Stalls and activities were themed on different ideas of the Minoans.
“Students were able to paint Minoan frescoes, design their own labyrinth, and learn all about the archaeology and myths surrounding this civilisation.”
