A SPECIAL ‘green’ afternoon tea is being staged by The Oxford Belfry hotel as part of National Afternoon Tea Week.
This year the hotel is hoping to support its partner charity the NSPCC with the limited edition charitable tea.
It will include green cake specifically designed and created by the chef to be added to the afternoon tea platter as part of the ‘green themed’ additions.
For every afternoon tea sold at £15.50 there will be £1 will be donated to the charity.
It is part of National Afternoon Tea Week being staged across the country from this Monday to Friday.
It is a tradition that has graced the UK since the 1840s and the national celebration hopes to keep it alive.
