JACK Payne has been given Oxford United’s No 10 shirt for the new season.
The midfielder, on loan from Huddersfield Town, has inherited the squad number worn by Chris Maguire last season.
Summer signings Dwight Tiendalli and Mike Williamson have taken on numbers three and four respectively, vacated by Joe Skarz and John Lundstram.
A trio of players from last season’s line-up have changed their numbers, with Rob Hall, Ryan Ledson and Marvin Johnson moving up the order.
Malachi Napa, Shandon Baptiste and Manny Agboola are numbers 36, 37 and 40 in their first years as professionals.
