DETAILS of the 15th Wolvercote and Wytham Midsummer Festival have been announced.

Organisers said the celebration of village life would take place from June 16 to 25, with the theme of ‘myths, legends and stories’.

Alongside food and drink stands, it will include a bell ringing workshop, a ‘scrufts dog show’, live classical music, a horticultural show, poetry performances, arts and crafts, Morris dancing, a parade and talk on ‘Wolvercote myths and legends’ by historian and former Lord Mayor of Oxford Ann Spokes-Symonds.
